FYI Chicago readers - Inexpensive UM football books for sale

Submitted by Blue Lurker on

For those of you that like to read about UM football and want to get an inexpensive book. ($1.99)

I was bored during lunch, wandered around and ended up in the Tuesday Morning on Lincoln and Ashland.  The store has "What it means to be a Wolverine: Michigan's Greatest Players Talk About Michigan Football" for sale for $1.99   Forward by Bo.   Its is from 2005 so it doesn't include some of the more recent players but it looks pretty good.

Around 10 copies left...

Haven't gotten into it really, but caveat being I'd just finished Three & Out and Bo's Lasting Lessons ... pretty hard to follow that up.

I'd expect this book to be on par with the Jon Falk memoir, IF THESE WALLS COULD TALK

I found 15 copies of Not Till The Fat Lady Sings: The Most Dramatic Finishes In Detroit Sports History at a flea-market type store in Virginia for $1.99 (face was $28). Bought them all for $30, kept one, and mailed the rest to family members. Made for awesome gifts.
