2 early observations: horrtible call on poole when that guy wacked him while backing down on him.
second one is wagner's left-handed basket, our 8th and 9th point. even with the FSU ents, that won't be defensible.

My excitment is already up to an 11 here. No idea how I'm going to make it till the 9ish tipoff. Go Blue!
My best advice: start drinking Molson Ice now.
Hope you mean 2012-13. (In 2013-14 we lost in the Elite Eight.)

who is not a sports fan kept asking me why I kept saying "Wow!" and "Holy Shit!" w a big smile on my face the whole 1st half.
As my good friend from A&M said - "Your boys just gave us a good old fashioned ass whippin"...

Many outside of this board would call that a complete waste of time. Most of us here know that I just made a very wise investment. I do not want those 30 minutes back. Observations on the 2nd viewing:
Z got into the paint whenever he wanted.
Likewise, no one could stay in front of MAAR.
Z's defense on Starks prevented any offense from developing.
On the rare instances where Davis or Williams got the ball in the post, Wagner, Robinson, or Teske made life very hard on them.
We wanted the loose balls more, and we were rewarded.
Matthews' decision making on offense was flawless. That, to me, is more important than his execution in hindsight, as it is more predictive of the future. Also, his execution on offense was nearly flawless as well.
Livers once again provided energy and spacing with another invisible box score effort that does not reveal his value.
Duncan flashed his beautiful stroke, but his defense and driving to the hoop were extremely impressive.
Mo was unstoppable, and so was his mouth. He won't take crap from anybody, and he is better when fully engaged emotionally.
Poole hit a filthy stepback to start the scoring. We are just scracthing the surface with him.
Simmons runs the offense with a purpose. He had very limited minutes, but he saw Watson wide open and managed to deceive the defense just long enough to get in the position to deliver that pass.
Beilein owned the half time interview. He got a little plug in for the Michigan band and then proceeded to create his own questions b/c he couldn't hear (didn't like?) the reporter's questions. His answers were perfect, and he put nearly the entire emphasis on our defense.
Go blue.

I had to smile when JB mentioned "the great Michigan band." He seems to love where he is, enjoying the whole Michigan experience. Then again, it's hard for a coach whose team just completely owned the first half of a game to be in anything other than a good mood.
He couldn't hear the questions. Jacobson (a Michigan grad) barely had any voice all night, but plugged through both games.
...against Carolina. Groove died. Do not bet the farm.
I'm just Waiting to Exhale...
sounds like a home game in there and that was a Thursday night! It's probably going to be full of maize tonight. Can't wait
