Friday Night You Know What Thread
So I waited until ten, and when the clock struck it became apparent I would be that guy. Anyway, anyone drinking anything good? Or drinking enough of something bad to make it a good time anyway?
I'll start it off by saying what I'm having: poor college student whiskey sours (whiskey and sweet and sour mix) and some Bud Light Lime that my girlfriend bought if I'm feeling good enough later.

Always. Sometimes I go fancy and grab a Molson Canadian but only if I'm feeling like spoiling myself.

Sounds very interesting . . . do you throw some fresh citrus in that, or let the S.M. Free handle the flava?
I've never tried adding citrus to it but that sounds amazing. I will give it a shot. :)

Found an Oberon mini-keg at Whole Foods here in northern VA. Pretty boined about that.
For any other NOVA folks, seems Whole Foods is the best place to get Michigan beers. Or at least the easiest store to locate.

has anyone been to the wolverine tap room out on stadium behind the bike shop? Went there after dom's yesterday and it is really nice in there. i dont drink beer but the gf and roommate seem to have good taste (belaire brown, warsteiner) and they said the beer was great

I've had enough to drink tonight to realize that chemists are on to something: chemicals determine everything in human life. Chemical reactions in our brains.
I finished my first week of organic on Friday, and it's an order of magnitude tougher than general chemistry. Plus I have seven more weeks of work to go before I'm done with summer school. Then I take the MCAT. It's going to be rough for BlueDragon until September. I might only be blogging one hour a day for awhile, not counting this weekend.
Doubt you're back on here and seeing this thread, but I wanted to say thanks and tell you that I read the Madoff piece you linked to. Very interesting stuff, and I wanted to ask you a couple things:
- Is it within the norm for a bankruptcy attorney to even out losses, so to speak, as is happening in this case? That seems like a gross misuse of the legal system to me, Madoff concocted the scam, not people who happened to pull out more quickly than others.
- Where are you in law school? I've always wondered that, but it took a few drinks from round two for me to go ahead and ask.
