Sharing a bottle of riesling (wife's choice,so I don't even know what kind/brand/grape/acidity/year/tannins/flavor/region/nationality it is) with my wife while watching NIU/BGSU...high possibility of The Hobbit interrupting football when she gets home from work soon due to wife preference, which is OK with me.

Yeah I'm by no means a big drinker or anything, but I find a medium to medium-sweet riesling is typically easy to drink, tasty, and drinkable with anything...really a solid choice for any occasion!

If you can find it. "Turn Me Reisling". It will have a pinup girl on the label. FANTASTIC!

My wife really likes Riesling too, as well as Pinot Gris. We drink King Estate mostly, which is a vinyard near our place in Eugene, OR.
I think they're alright, but as I started getting into more bitter beers (IPAs mostly) I noticed that those types of wines started tasting really sweet to me. I don't drink wine all that often, but I think may pallette has started moving more toward reds and dry whites. At the end of the day though, I'm just a really big fan of alcohol in general!

Drinking Miller Lite while watching Star Trek TNG. Refreshing the blog while working on some software for work.

is good for you, so I bought a 5 liter box of Franzia Chianti (no fava beans). Works well on a budget (Santa wants his money, whether I want to drink or not) and isnt all that bad. Here's to good health
As soon as I put the tyke down, the Wife and I have a "date" to watch Red 2. I'm hoping it is as entertaining as the first one.

Possibly to be in my belly. Depends how this evening goes. I'm... enjoying myself.

to know I have taken the bag from the box and stapled it to the wall in the kitchen so I just stick my head under the tap every time I walk by?

I'm trying Founders Porter. It's pretty good.

That's one of the best porters out there by far! It's a very, very good beer.

2:45 minutes to go 15 miles? My daily commute is 54 miles each way, and it wouldn't take that long with a Zamboni prepping the expressways. Ouch. Another reason to love Michigan.

I once drove a 72 corvette to Schuss Mountain/Shanty Creek ski resort in the dead of early Feburary, no problem. Southerners suck at driving.

Something dark. Haven't made up my mind as of yet.

Thought I would try somthing new so I bought Bell's Porter, and Bell's Winter White Ale. They're alright.

Try New Holland's Accumulation Ale. I'm not actually a Fat Tire fan (WAY overrated), but Accumulation is excellent.

Have you tried Founders Porter? It's one of the best porters out there, and way better than Bell's Porter.
