Averaging 19.5 ppg, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Who said Suggs was better?

I've been impressed in his shooting and ability to create his own shot off the dribble.  He's really using his length and balance to do some awesome things on offense.  Combine that with All-NBA potential on defense...

He might be the second best rookie behind Evan Mobley.

Congrats to Franz!

Wolverines were tearing it up in the NHL also.

Max Pacioretty was named one of the NHL three stars for the month of December.

Wagner has been so good this past month, and the Michigan basketball team has struggled so much that I've wondered if Wagner was dramatically, and universally, underrated last year. Maybe a talented player just went Ojabo in 2021, I don't know.

Agree that Wagner’s impact on the team last year was underrated. Also, Michigan lost three other guys to the who are on the NBA bubble, Livers, Smith, and Brown. That is a heck a lot of talent to lose. In retrospect, it was overly optimistic to expect  an overall excellent recruiting class to replace that talent right away.

Just got 14:1 odds on Franz winning rookie of the year.  If he continues to play and develop like he has over the past month, he won't finish less than third in the final betting.  Get in now while the getting is good.

Listening to Ryen Russilo podcast last week I found out his nick name is “Only Franz” - I don’t follow basketball that closely, did someone in Ann Arbor come up with this or is this from Orlando?
