Seth, how early do you typically do a write up for a person like Brandt who was expected to sign with Michigan today? Or is there a general rule to have a write up for a person 'choosing a hat' incase they choose 'the good guys'?

If we are pretty sure we're going to get a guy and we have the time I'll spend about 3-5 hours on a writeup, longer if it's a big get. If they pop in the middle of football season we'll just circle around to them later. I can crank one of these out in an hour and a half if I really need to but it won't be as informative. A lot of the time goes into reviewing the film that's available.
