Forget DR and DG; bring on Bellomy!

Just kidding. But at times like these when we lose a game in part because we could only complete 30-40% of our passes (which seems to happen more and more these days), it does comfort me to know that we have a pure passer on the roster who could be a realistic option in 2012.

Funny how the same people who bitched about RR now bitch about coaching decisions after every loss with an entirely new coaching staff.

If I have to say this until I am blue in the face, I will: anyone who wants to see Michigan get better needs to support the coaching staff.  The alternative is yet another coach with yet another system.  Any deviation from the current course will cost the program a couple of more years.

Hoke is a great motivator, delegator, and front man for the program.  Mattison may be Michigan's version of Monte Kiffin; he is probably a lifer at DC, and is one of the best in the business.  Borges is introducing a lot of misdirection to the offense, and has done a very good job wherever he has been.

It seems like the only people around the program who aren't top-notch are the portion of the fanbase that expects every system change to be instantaneous and Michigan to win every game.  It is no disgrace to lose on the road to Iowa.  Also, even though it sucked more prolifically than a black hole in some dark corner of the universe, it was no disgrace to lose in EL.

Be patient with this team.  RR would have won nine games if his pattern had continued.  If this team wins nine with entirely new systems on both sides of the ball, it is a great accomplishment.  This team wasn't ranked to begin the year, but it has a great chance to finish in the top 20, if not the top 15.  I'm pretty sure that if everyone here was asked at the beginning of the year if nine or ten wins and a top-20 ranking would be "acceptable," most would have said, "yes."

If I was covering this team for a blog, I would question a few things because it would be my job.  As a fan, though, I am going to trust the coaching staff and be happy with whatever they can do.

I agree 100 %.  Remember your own pre-season predictions even though it's difficult not to get caught up in all the early season winning hype.  We did NOT think of ourselves realistically competing for a Big Ten Championship so let's get real.  We are doing BETTER than expected.

He fits this system VERY well. He has a variety of throws, and the feet to stay alive in the pocket. However, I don't think he wins the spot until DG is gone. However, it's very possible that Denard moves somewhere else on the roster if there's enough depth and another better option.
