Few crazy Michigan football stats....
Michigan has scored 48 Touchdowns. First in the Big Ten (PSU with 45)
Michigan has given up 8!!!! (EIGHT!!!) touchdowns. First in the Big Ten.
Their difference is 37. Next closest is PSU and OSU at 29.
Iowa, the worst offense in the history of college football (no, but they are obviously horrible) has scored 17 TD's. Michigan State has scored 18!! lol
Michigan States difference of -12 is worst in the Big Ten.
Iowa has only given up 1 rushing TD. I don't know what the Big Ten record is for a season, but they must be in the running.
Even after we throttled PSU on the ground, they are STILL the number 1 rushing defense in the Big Ten, giving up a best 2.4 YPC and 77.2 YPG. Makes our 2nd half against them even look better.
Michigan's pass defense is giving up 134.6 yards a game, 1st in Big Ten. Again, this must be somewhat close to a record i would believe.
We are 13th in the Big Ten in KO returns, just 16.3 avg.
