Thanks for posting.  Takeaways:

 - Most coherent the defense has looked all year (ignoring NIU)

 - Wisconsin's OL blew a lot of blocking assignments.  They Bad

 - Secondary played better than I thought when I watched it live

 - their only offense was 3-4 NFL-grade passes, we even had pretty good coverage on 2-3 of them

 - Berger was their best running back

 - God help their quarterbacks.  You have to feel for Mertz, just when the sun starts breaking through the clouds for him, he gets struck by lightening.  It's a tough road for a 20 year old kid.

That's a pretty good summary of the defense. They just overwhelmed Wisconsin's line.

I was at the game, which I don't do very often, and I missed what exactly happened when Mertz was injured. I wanted to watch the secondary, just to see what the coverage looked like. That was a mistake obviously, and I think a new rule for game-watching is that I have to make sure Dax isn't blitzing before committing to the secondary.

I love the aggressiveness. They were not perfect, of course, but there is sort of an extreme aggression within a "bend don't break" type of feel. Just seems like the best of both worlds in today's college football.

I want to give a shout out to Alex Drain.  He NAILED the Wisconsin offense, specifically Tyler Beach.  Tyler Beach was so bad in pass protection - its been a long time since ive seen someone that bad.

Now, Ojabo is above average pass rusher no doubt, but Beach made him look like an all-american candidate.  Great scouting Alex, you nailed it.

I mainly watched the line here as I was fully expecting Wisconsin's O-line to deposit our DTs 5 yards downfield on every run. I thought they held up pretty well on watching this. Mazi especially jumped out as a guy holding his ground and making some plays. Encouraging to see
