Must be nice to have your athletic director as head of the selection committee. Interesting that Michigan can never get anyone on these committees. Hollis set them up for an easy run last year. Not his fault they came out and shit the bed.

The idea that Hollis leaving the room when they discuss MSU will prevent any bias is silly. He is in a great position to help MSU with seeding and matchups, to deny that is just because you don't wanna face that politics are involved in the selection of the bracket.

Sparty is likely in, even if they lose on Thursday.  Vanderbilt is 3 games over .500 and in the "should be in" category.  Syracuse doesn't have a great resume either.  Only way MSU doesn't make the tournament is if there's a rash of upsets in the lower conferences, and even that may just drop them to a play-in game.

I'[m kind of hoping that we don't get to play four games this weekend.  Winning the BTT doesn't really mean much, and four games in four days can really tire a team out.  I'd be content with two wins and a close loss in the semis.  That would mean we'd have beaten Purdue again -- a resume enhancer.  But, if the team catches fire and goes for it all -- might as well go with the flow!
