ESPN blogging first practice
Check out the last bullet point in this post: Morgan Trent ran a 4.13 40...even hand-timed, that's blazing.

The Rivals guys were there and said that was a shuttle time, not a 40 time - espn boned it.
I have never heard of a 4.13 40. The fastest I've ever heard is 4.3, but I've never really kept track of such things.
That I ever recall hearing about was a 4.19, but I'm getting old and my memory escapes me on who it was...a small-school cornerback in the mid-'90's. Drafted by the Panthers, I believe?
A 4.13 might not defy physics, but it might be the sort of time only the Tyson Gay's of the world would put up.
if you were timing the middle section of a 100 meter sprint...I once ran a 10.2 on the last leg of a 4x100, of course it was only 95 meters and my coach had a slow trigger finger...

WHy do you keep resurrecting these year old threads? It's just confusing - now we have to make sure of the date to know what to do with these threads. Stop it!
