Joe Boisture #1 QB in the country, no doubt. Sparty is gunna be soooo good next year that got that transfer and that kid from Midland. Keg stands all around.

Neither Boisture nor Gardner finished in the top five. It appears that Bolden fared the best of the Michigan QBs.

Big difference since Gardner is a dual threat QB. The camp doesn't take into account the ability of a QB to run the ball. It's a passing showcase. Feedback also has Gardner faring pretty well with a big improvement over last summer.

Yep, and he did win for "best feet" and "best in the classroom," which seems to be a perfect fit for us. No one expects him to have the accuracy and arm strength of all of the other QB's there, but if he's great on his feet and willing to put in the time to learn a complicated system, that sounds great to me.

"Here are the winners from this year, as chosen by Colorado's Cody Hawkins and Missouri's Chase Daniel." I couldn't possibly care less what Cody "Go play intramurals, brother" Hawkins has to say.

My favorite rant ever is, unfortunately, too old to be archived so it never gets brought up in these discussions. Darryl Rogers' "What does a coach have to do around here to get fired?" quote is like the greatest thing ever.

So why do the recruiting services keep referring to Inkster as "Detroit Inkster" instead of "Inkster Inkster"? It's almost on par with "Redford Detroit Catholic Central (Novi, MI)".

Well, I don't know about Inkster. But I do know about CC. Catholic Central started out in Detroit back in 1928. It was and of course still is a Private school whose legal identity is Detroit Catholic Central. The school moved to Redford in 1978 and elected not to change the name. The school stayed in Redford for close to 30 years. They moved to their new location in Novi back in 2005. The school is still Detroit Catholic Central, it is just located in Novi now. I have no idea why they would leave Redford on the name.

I used to own a pet squid and called him "the inkster." It wasn't so much because he would spurt inky liquid when alarmed, but because he went to Inkster in Inkster, which of course everyone knows is not the same thing as Detroit.
