DJ Williamson and J. Robinson, O or D?

Do you see Robinson and Williamson on Defense or Offense or does it depend on who else we land on both sides of the ball?

I think it depends on who else we land. I think Robinson is a better safety prospect, and I don't think Williamson will contribute heavily either on offense or defense. I'd be willing to bet that at least one of these two will end up on defense.

Williamson will compete with Ricardo Miller as the best WR in this class. The kid has great speed and is a very good pure WR. He's never had a good throwing QB, hence his stats and low scout/rivals rankings. I guarantee he will be a kick butt WR for M when all is said and done. Jerald Robinson might not make much of an impact at Michigan IMO. Unless he switches to defense I don't see him seeing the field much during his career. He doesn't have great speed and is rail thin. You have to be able to block and run well in this O, 2 things Jerald Robinson will have trouble with.

And it's not like ~175 for a HS Jr. is rail thin anyway. When Roundtree came in last year, he was around 155 I think, and is still only 175, but seems to be looking OK. The fact that both of these kids are already that size and have, bare minimum, a year and a half until they can see the field, I don't see weight as an issue for either.

hmmmm...me thinks you are speaking in a language that Mcfarlin can't understand. Good job Gordie. 3+ for usage of the word, another 2+ for adding Barwis to your post. Let's see...another 1+ for the right amount of sarcasm and that brings you to a total of 6. You are on your way to the second round.

Relax, magnus Don't go off scout or rivals listed sizes like it's the bible. It's just my opinion based off film, and have heard the same in other evaluations of both prospects. Anyway, take it fwiw.

a) I'm completely relaxed. b) Okay, I'll stop using Rivals and Scout for my information. I'll just trust your "rail thin" descriptions based on the film you've watched. There's no better way to judge a guy's size than to trust a random internet user who's seen a 3 x 5 Youtube highlight video...

Mag, the bigger issue w/ Robinson is his lack of speed. Stokes, Miller, and Williamson will make it tough for Robinson to contribute at outside WR.
