Did Don Brown change game plan for Hudson?

Submitted by Yessir on

Is Hudson coming on related to Bush slight drop off? I'm not a big X's and O's guy so any thoughts would be appreciated.

Bush was playing off the charts for the first part of the season.  Hudson playing off the charts now.

It seemed like Sparty Offense schemed Bush out of the box a little bit and other teams found ways to block him.  So did Don Brown adjust and get Hudson in the backfield more? Did DBrown adjust what he's doing with Hudson after Bush's slight drop off?

Or is this just football where Bush had some great games early and Hudson is having some great games now?

I caught that! My first thought was, "WTF! You mean he's only 8 lbs heavier than me? If I work out hard I can catch him." Lol.

Well... Kinnel did punch the guys fist with the side of his helmet.

I know fighting isn't a good thing, but it was good to see the team come together.  I'm sure coach will make it into a coachable moment.

He also PRAISED the Minnesota player for being chippy and not taking shit from Kinnel. Didn't seem to care that the player threw a punch... all while mentioning that Kinnel instigated it all and should have been executed at midfield

That's what I saw too. As the the play had just ended, that big tackle was jabbing at Dwumfour. That's why Kinnel came in. Those bright announcers missed that though. The older I get, I just hate people so bad because they are stupid and pathetic. That little shithead tackle from Minnesota would've got one hell of a workout today from me if I were the coach. Doubt that little worm Fleck did that though. I'm full of too much hate lately. Need to go to the strip club. All a bunch of damn idiots.

A non-football-fan woman asked me if the "no responsibility" thing was true after I got angry at the announcers the second time. My response: "No. Nobody designs a defense like that. It would be stupid. These announcers are stupid." "Why would they say things that can't be true?" "I don't know. I think they're just idiots"

I think it is a matter of what an opposing team wants to avoid.  Bush is the known quantity so teams will try to scheme around him.  This leaves opportunities for others (Hudson in this case) to shine.  It still takes a great performance to do what Hudson did.

to see the sarcastic comments towards the announcers have been covered already. That was pretty annoying, and I am conflicted about them in general. They added nothing of substance to the broadcast and I really think Brando is a douche for his Twitter rants, but I think they both have cool old-school football voices and I liked the way they called big plays.
