Dewayne Peace
Rivals just did an article saying that Dewayne Peace was solid with Michigan now. I wanted to talk to him, and see what did it.
He said that the coaches came to his house, and really changed his mind, how they told him he was going to get to play early, and try for both sides. He's not taking anymore visits, and is 100% with Michigan.
This reiterates their article, but I just wanted to make sure for myself. This is good news from the WR and DB standpoint.

As always Tom, thank you. You do a great job, and help make this site the best Michigan site on the web.

Great news. Takes some of the pressure off of having to find another outside WR in this class. Thanks for the info, Tom.

Ya know, I'm thinking this has something to do with us dropping Jamal Patterson too. I wonder if that was a concern of his.

He said in the interview that the coaches want him to learn the offense 100% and when that happens, they'll take a look at him on defense.
Which sounds strange, because everything we heard after the camp was that he would probably be a corner. But whatever. That's what the coaches told him, apparently, so that's what I'll believe.

Could be a sign that the prospects of signing another receiver of that type are slim for this class.
