And that is another Harbaugh difference. Kickers have been an afterthought for our coaching staff it seems for the last 25 years. He will win games for us over the next few years maybe starting Saturday

He was a consensus four-star, with a good offer list including Georgia, Notre Dame, Florida, LSU, a lot of B1G programs (no OSU offer, though), TCU, Texas, and Miami. Michigan State did not offer.*
So not as "under the radar" as I recall on the recruiting trail. But still, not a player folks were talking about nationally as the season began.
*Likely because this diamond wasn't sufficiently rough.

until the other teams realized they could hold and tackle Chase without ever getting called for a penalty. The B1G refs are SO BIASED against Michigan ! I wish someone would show penalty totals in B1G play since Harbaugh's arrival.

Winovich, Hurst, and Bush should be All Americans if they just simply continue playing how they are but I doubt AP will allow 3 UM players on the defense.
Also, if Nordin ISNT 1st team all american then id like to see the kicker who is in action because im not sure how a kicker can be playing better than Nordin
