Submitted by MGoShoe on

The Michigan Daily will soon offer its book Michigan Football: A History of the Nation's Winningest Program. The book...

...is a compilation of stories and pictures that have been printed in The Michigan Daily, the University of Michigan's student-run newspaper, from 1890 to the present. The book features the program's eleven national championships, three Heisman Trophy winners and legendary coaches who have made Michigan the winningest football program in the nation. News headlines and stories throughout the book remind the reader of the important historical events occurring in Michigan and across the world while the Wolverines played on the field.

It will be available in August in stores in Michigan and select retailers across the nation for $24.95. A special hardcover edition will be available exclusively from The Michigan Daily for $39.95. Will buy it for sure but I hope someone like Bacon writes a 500+ page book about the same topic. I would like to see a Michigan football book that goes into detail about the early years and provide some stories for the hardcore fans. Seems like most of these type of books are just rehashing the same old stuff.

BTW does anyone know  when the book about Yost and the first college football dynasty comes out? Not sure if it was Greg from MVictors but I remember reading about it in HTTV's magazine.
