Defensive Line Video
Hope you guys enjoy!
Chris Hinton is twice my age and I'm 31. Can't convince me otherwise.
Can't wait for camp and the season. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, mello. You’ve got a real talent.
I enjoyed the video, thanks.

Showing my age here, but I miss the days when highlights had soundtracks like this one (not necessarily my favorite music but preferable to what's been standard the past few years):

0:15 to 0:32 highly recommended there .....
Yeah...you old...LOL
Seriously though, I would probably show more of these highlight vids to the kids if they were more PG friendly (elementary/middle school kids) because they are super slick and they love video editing.
Now, I just sit alone hitting repeat on these videos for an hour every time Mello drops a new one.
Yeah I had to mute it. I'm old.
Pretty cool stuff man, thanks!! I can live with the music, not my favorite but it’s not ruining the video for me either. Pretty cool to see Kwity so much in that video. He’s a very sound player. I hope he takes another step forward this season. He and Hutch are monsters, and watching the line get off the ball at the beginning points of that video just reminds me how fricken huge these kids are.
Hutch is a monster and he is going to increasingly be so. Hinton, and I believe Smith will too, will become a force inside. And I believe there is a strong contingent of players who have hardly yet seen the field from which significant contributions will come.
I just watched the clips of Somerville and Rooks (all the crystal balls on both to Michigan) and these two would be outstanding additions to Michigan's future DL.
- Paye - 6.5 sacks, 50 tackles
- Hutch - 3.5 sacks, 69 tackles
- Kemp - 2 sacks, 40 tackles
- Hinton - 0 sacks, 10 tackles
- Vilain - 1 sack, 7 tackles
- Jeter, Smith - 0 sacks, 0 tackles
Paye & Kemp have played enough that they've probably peaked in development, which is solid. But, we probably need to see a development jump this year to get back to the level of d-line play we need to be a dominant defense. Hopefully Hutch can turn into a real pass rush threat. Hopefully this is finally Luigi's year to flash the skills of someone of his recruiting profile and maybe replace Uche's sack production. Hopefully Jeter now over a full year past his injury can make significant contributions. Hopefully Hinton can continue developing. Hopefully Smith is ready to contribute. And, someone needs to step up as a viable backup to Hutch, whether that be Upshaw, Ojabo, Welschof, or McGregor.
There are a lot of pieces to be excited about, but we probably need some development if we want to get back to having a dominant line.
Feels like last season was years ago. This reminded me how talented and experienced the DLine will be this year. Returning Paye, Hutchinson, Kemp, and Hinton alone is awesome. Looking forward to see who starts to emerge as the backups behind them.
Damn that got me jacked up

Maybe I'm not the one to judge but I don't like the editing. All these irrelevant zooms, different quality of video segments, and this song (well, it can be a matter of taste). I am myself not a great editor, gonna be honest. I can't master professional editing programs, however, I use crop video tools like https://fastreel.com/crop-video.html and such online stuff. That's why I said I shouldn't judge. So don't take my words to heart, but maybe pay a little attention to these.
