DE Rashan Gary Presser from this evening
Rashan Gary's turn in front of the cameras.
On Aidan Hutchinson:
He's tied to my hip...
He wants to be great...
I'm trying to be that big brother... If you mess up on something, short memory.
On where he feels he is right now:
Eatin' better. Workin' on the little things....
Wearin' contacts now. Seeing the field better... I wish I had done that sooner.

There it is.

Back by popular demand. So now you don't have to spend 11 minutes watching.

This is getting me in the football mood. Can’t wait for the BTN show on Monday!!
Sure it will be hype and the usual coach-speak, but normally one can get a few good tidbits (despite DiNardo) along with a little actual practice footage.
August 10th, 2018 at 8:18 PM ^
Yeah, sheesh, will we see DiNardo criticizing Don Brown again? Until he has done a better coaching job than Don Brown, I don't think he really understands how critique someone the caliber Don Brown.

Sort of like Kenny Bania criticizing Jerry Seinfeld

The Prolific Panther is bringing the heat tonight

Wish I could get paid for it.

stop talking to yourself, it's pathetic.
thanks for the vid tho.
August 11th, 2018 at 7:35 PM ^
Yeah, I'm told something like 80% of all accounts on here are mine or something.

I know Gary wore glasses before, but I'm reminded of Roundtree who realized mid-career he needed glasses and he was raving about seeing the ball so much better.
Maybe all players should have annual eye exams, takes little effort and can make a big difference.
August 10th, 2018 at 8:49 PM ^
We had annual eye exams 15 years ago at NU. I would be surprised if the M players didn’t get them.
August 10th, 2018 at 8:49 PM ^
Gary has worn glasses off the field for a long time. I'm surprised he didn't wear contacts on it.
August 10th, 2018 at 8:43 PM ^
So you're telling me that we've actually only seen Rashan Gary with like 80% vision? Buckle up.
Also, as someone who, at one point, tried to play helmet-wearing sports with actual glasses on underneath (i.e. Rodrigo Blankenship), I can attest to the fact that contacts make you feel like superman.
Also also - did anybody get a little scared when they asked Gary about Wimbush? Say a prayer for Brandon on August 31st.

"So you're telling me that we've actually only seen Rashan Gary with like 80% vision? Buckle up."
This made me laugh

Once again, nobody is rushing to talk about McCaffrey or Peters when Shea is brought up. And Gary specifically, unprompted, mentioned that Shea can hit the deep ball.
That sounds good. Except from a couple of late-season Rudock passes that long ball has been missing from Michigan's offense, and the way Harbaugh designs his offense it's a vital factor that has been absent.
I'm usually not a big mark for player interviews. They're learning to say stuff without saying stuff, and they do fine at it. But I'll take whatever I can get right now.
August 10th, 2018 at 8:57 PM ^
He has been connecting against our ones on D too. Dropping dimes on the back shoulder throws. Agreed, every interview mentions Patterson first.
August 11th, 2018 at 3:34 PM ^
I can't take much more....
HOW MANY MORE DAYS?
August 10th, 2018 at 9:43 PM ^
I thought Speight threw a decent deep ball.
August 10th, 2018 at 10:46 PM ^
Once or twice in game situations.
Total.
He was pretty bad at it for most of his career. Often inaccurate with poor distance judgment. There were a couple of good ones (most notably, to beat Wisconsin) but a lot of poor throws as well.
August 11th, 2018 at 9:25 AM ^
Against Wisconsin is the only one that comes to mind lol
August 10th, 2018 at 9:55 PM ^
To be that guy, did we need a separate post for each player interview?
August 10th, 2018 at 10:04 PM ^
And we were all so happy.
Anyway, I posted them as they came out. Didn't know there was going to be 4 pressers.

"Hit the bag!" one of my all time favorite recent um videos. I have hope lol
August 11th, 2018 at 7:37 PM ^
It was me that posted it a couple months ago. I'll look for it again.
August 10th, 2018 at 10:32 PM ^
Can someone embed the hit the bag video for me please. It is an alltime clasic

Destroyer of worlds. Harvester of souls. Absorber of essence.
Opposing QBs shall know his wrath this Fall.
August 11th, 2018 at 10:19 AM ^
Inspiring eloquence! Keep it up (and may we have reason to do so after witnessing events on the field).
August 11th, 2018 at 7:57 PM ^
If Rashan Gary can do this year what he did in his senior year at high school, he will be the most memorable defensive player in Michigan's modern history.
August 11th, 2018 at 3:35 PM ^
Can't wait to see the 1-2 punch of Gary and Winovich this season.
August 11th, 2018 at 8:00 PM ^
No defense in America, not even Alabama's, can shut them both off.
