Dan Mullen reported in Baton Rouge Friday.

I know most of you don't like rumor-mongering. And I know what most of you think of the bleacher report but I came across this and thought is was at least worth sharing. It is mostly about Les Miles and the plane in Baton Rouge. But makes mention that Dan Mullen was reported in Baton Rouge Friday.

Note: TAKE IT FWIW. THIS COULD BE NOTHING OR SOMETHING. ALSO UNSURE OF CONFIRMATION.

...at Florida before Mullen left for MSU.

Quotes from Denard about Mullen before the Gator Bowl:

"I basically committed to him," and "He was a nice guy, real genuine," and "The way he used Tebow was perfect for me."

And how about this for an eerily prophetic quote if DB can somehow get Mullen:

"We had built a relationship, and I'm probably going to be his quarterback one day."

I would be surprised were he interested, but I think this makes sense for UM.  He has a sterling resume and background, and his system fits Michigan's players.  Miles has a more impressive SEC record, but also had MUCH better guys.  You know, Mullen won't coach at Miss. St. for long, and the UF job being filled crosses out one major option for him.

In a heartbeat - right up there with Patterson after Harbaugh. But with the success he's had, and the new extension, it would almost certainly raise a big ruckus for him to leave, which is probably a consideration for both him and Michigan.
