The Curse

Whew. I thought this one was on me frankly cause I wore a new shirt (the CW "believe" shirt from Mgoblog) to the game and NOT the one I wore to all our home games last year.

I think you could be onto something with the curse. It seemed like my 2 year old was spotting elephants in every children's book, puzzle, etc. yesterday. The first one I passed off saying "we're not rooting for elephants today." After a few instances, I actually started to worry she was jinxing the team.

I almost died last night watching that game, luckily I successfully turned Nick Saban into a horcrux when he worked at MSU.

Well we do have the SI curse too...though I am not a believer...I may become one.

I actually changed shirts after each Bama touchdown. Figured that was the problem.   I gotta do some laundry.

Sorry guys it's my fault. I wore the same shirt that I wore for the 2010 MSU game. Should've tossed it back then.

Brady Hoke has never lost to Alabama before the banner changed! Change it back!!

Curse of the ugly uniforms.  I don't want to argue, but one has to be cognizant of the fact that the uglier the uniforms, the worse we play.  This is a fact.  Even against Notre Dame, we didn't play "well" until the end of the game; even then, we snuck through with a victory.  I want to talk to the guy who was debating whether or not to buy this highlighter jersey before the game.  I guess you have your answer, bud.

For Chrissakes, that's why you need adults around. Do you let your kids do anything they want simply because they want to? I can't think of a less valid reason.

Sorry guys I wore my Denard jersey, which I wore to the Sugar Bowl where we had no offensive rhythm whatsoever. I should worn my Zoltan jersey, which I wore to the Nebraska game. 

Bama fans were incredibly hospitable to Penn State fans who went to the game at Bama.

Maybe that is the way many of them are, although had we won, they might not have been so kind.

Over the years, I have run into an awful lot of fans from opposing schools who were hospitable when I was at away games, far more than the number of jerks, most of whom were drunkenly dysfunctional.

That the farther south you go the nicer the people are, but I think that excludes Florida.  Folks in those southern states are simply nice and gentle people:  gentlemen and southern belles.

Also, when you know your team is going to beat the crap out of the opponent, then why not be nice to the fans?

I wore a different hat than what I did last year.  I thought for sure it was my faught.  My conscience is now clear.
