College Hockey Friday Updates: CO College 1, Denver 0
Yay, Tigers! Denver losing increases our chance of moving up to 3rd in PWR to 9% per Pairwise Probability Matrix. Much better than 0.6% that it used to be, IIRC. Can we take care of business in MN? 66% chance to stay in 4th.
But BU beat Providence in OT, 2-1. 24% chance for us to drop to 5th and BU to move up.
Colgate beat Quinnipiac 2-1 in 2OT, but it doesn't appear to budge Quinnipiac out of 2nd.
Just win. Go blue

Beat the stinkin' Gophers!
A win tonight expunges those losses during the season! They would be very forgettable (for the moment, anyway)!

Gotta love Colorado College, a school so small 1/4 of the students are on the hockey team

Remember the WCHA days when M played in Co Springs and Denver! Typically difficult games, as I recall. Seems like it could be a fun road trip for the team, which is now irrelevant! Don't think I would enjoy travelling to/playing in South Bend, Columbus, or Happy Valley compared to Colorado.
That gives 6 teams ranked 18th or lower a 25%+ chance of making the tournament at this point

I’m all in for an easy first round game.

Cornell 0, Harvard 0, early mid 3rd.
UMass-Lowell 0, Merrimack 1, late 3rd.
NoDak 2, St. Cloud St 1, end of 2nd.
[Edit]
Cornell 0, Harvard 0, going to OT.
UMass-Lowell 1, Merrimack 1, early OT. Lowell scored @ 19:29 of 3rd.
NoDak 2, St. Cloud St 2, mid 3rd.

A NoDak win would pit 6 vs 7 (CC) seeds in the conference final. There are only 8 teams in the conference.
That’s nutty. And a bid-stealer.

Harvard wins 1 to 0 in 1st overtime.

NoDak 2, St. Cloud St 2, in early 1OT.

For those who are interested, the North Dakota-St. Cloud State game is on CBSN and the UMass-Lowell-Merrimack game is on NESN. Both games are still in overtime.

Michigan with a 24% chance to move up to #3 overall seed, 42% to stay at #4, and 35% to drop to #5

So, a 101% chance to move up, move down, or stay put. I like those odds.
