College Game Day Thread (and Today's Game Schedule)
No exaggeration, Oho Stadium in the rain looks just like a penitentiary.
I think the planets are aligning here for Ohio State.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was hoping that game day would cause Yost to reconsider and show up, but I guess not.
So here is today's schedule:
Saturday, October 28

how about you all post photos of the tailgating and the game shots on the blog? i gave my tickets to one of my nieces (U of M grad, wonderful young lady) so i won't be in attendance, but its fun to see the mgopaparazzi in action.
also, they say the golf course parking is all messed up b/c of the rains, so for you all en route their, you might have to make alternate plans.

I miss the "Pre-gaming with Pat" videos. As an out of towner, I was able to pregame and tailgate vicariously through it.
Somebody needs to pick that up. It's a great niche.

Interesting how they keep mentioning that Ohio State made it into the playoffs last year, but nobody is bringing up what happened when they got there...
I hope Des brought a box of donuts for Herbs this morning.

Hey Yost, er, I mean Oscam, are you going to post today's game schedule?
I always looked forward to that, you did a good job with it.

There are more yellow Columbus Crew banners at Ohio Stadium than red buckeye banners.
Most people watching will think it's Michigan trolling Ohio State's Game Day appearance.
Fine with me.

Fuck Ohio. But also, fuck psu and all their joepa-loving delusional fans!

Yes--listen to Herbstreit MGoBooBirds. We're going to be fine.

Desmond the voice of reason on Harbaugh's progress at Michigan. It's only a problem if your expectations were based on magic, and not on the actual situation at hand when he came in.

Exactly.
We lost to Rutgers and Maryland in their first year in the Big Ten.
We were in the abyss, looking at Mullen from Miss State as our Plan A.
We don't know how lucky we are.
October 28th, 2017 at 11:16 AM ^
Plus, as of today, we're 5-2. We lost to the #3 team and a 1-loss MSU team. We have the youngest Power-5 team. FSU just took a shellacking that put BC over .500, BC! FSU expected to make the playoffs. UF is 3-3. USC is about the skid off the road under their permanent interim coach. LSU has got to live with Cajun Brady Hoke.
Perspective...

I remember Desmond saying that too and simply being stunned to hear that in regards to a Michigan team on national TV. I think some of us suspected something like that but to hear it was an awful momnet unto itself for me as a Michigan fan.
I think there are some that forget how bad (and getting worse) it really was at that point.

Yeah, because changing the name of it was all they needed to do to stop college kids from drinking before football games.
How's that working out?

I gave up waiting and posted it above.
For the first time this year, the 3:30 games are much better that the prime time games.

College Game Day was better when it was 2 hours. That was the right amount of time.
9:00-12:00 is too long . . . too much filler and it drags out too much. Loses its edge.
October 28th, 2017 at 11:07 AM ^
But think about all those amazing commercials we'd miss.
Not to mention the 8 "win this fight tonight" shots. Krunk.
