Duke may be the only team that would give me a reason to cheer for Michigan State. I do know I'm going to get sick to my stomach hearing them rabble on and on about Izzo and Coach K.

For decades my dream has been for Mich to meet, then beat, Sparty in March...part of me roots for them when we're also in the dance, just for the chance of an in state rivalry matchup....imagine the hype! Imagine to shit talk? Imagine the paaaain we could cause by knocking them out?!

I now have my rooting interest, but if I'm reading this right, it's almost 7 million kilometers away, meaning in terms I can understand, about 4.3 million miles. (I admit, I didn't do that math. I asked Siri.) It seems like a long shot but I'm hoping.

One thing is for sure, watching Big Ten teams has been almost painful to watch. In conference play, they can't miss an open shot. In the tournament, they are passing up wide-open shots for garbage.

Dook's defense isn't that good. I think Staee is going to have to beat itself if they are going to exit.
Interesting that some of you can even contemplate MSU winning being preferable. Duke seems like a remote and diminishing threat, with the gremlin coach aging out and the team's basketball future uncertain. The MSU threat is imminent and real.

Duke isn't worried about Jon Scheyer replacing Coach K because Coach K clearly doesn't run an offense or defense. Duke survives solely on talent and as long as Scheyer can recruit and continue Duke's one and done factory with no post season success scam, then he's good for them
Considering his first recruiting class consists of 3 of the top 5 players in the country, he's well on his way.
