Scout is reporting that he did commit at the Alabama Spring Game aka A-Day.
...I'm at the A-Day game and based on the Quad and people filing into the stadium, I just want to know why we cant get this many people at our spring game? Surely the weather cant make that big of a difference.
we go to a BCS bowl game (and it's not freezing out) we'll get that many people too
Alabama = FOOTBALL. Football is the only thing that matters to them. Not so in Ann Arbor.
There was a lot of talk last year about trying to beat the spring game attendance record the following year. I don't think we made it as big of a deal as we did last year. Regardless the Michigan football nation every year should be able to break the spring game attendance record and consistently have a full stadium to watch.
I'm watching the Auburn spring game on ESPNU right now and the announcers mentioned Auburn calls their spring game A-Day too. I wonder who thought of this creative name first?

I grew up a Michigan fan and on Saturdays in our house - there wasnt anything more important than being in front of that TV if we couldnt make it to the game.
We have heard this for a while now. Anyone hear anything about the other Dr. Phillips safety LaQuentin Smith? I know we offered him and it looks like we are one of his better offers, but I haven't heard about any interest.
