last night but i feel like we're going to see a theme this year. they'll have games like they played tonight against clemson but we'll also have a lot of games like UTEP where we struggle shooting...with the amount of shooters on this team we'll always have a chance in games but we're gonna have some games where the young guys don't shoot well and they'll get whooped

That seemed to be the theme last year too. Live by the three, die by the three. The lynchpin to this type of offense is a solid big man in the paint to fight for offensive rebounds.

I believe we are actually taking less threes than last at this point and the best thing is that Morgan is staying inside where he belongs. Even when he has the ball at the three pt line he is looking to pass vice jack up a shot. That is much different than last year...now if McLimans will just follow his example!

It was nice to see us outscore them in the paint. I love how Darius is playing right now; aggressive and smart. Although, his youth kind of showed through in the second half when he became frustrated with Clemson' pressure. Overall, a great effort from the team and it will be interesting to see how much improvement we see game to game.

I think Sammy Watkins should decommit and send his LOI to Michigan.
Apparently, UGA made an in-home visit with Watkins yesterday. I don't think his recruitment his over just yet.

I thought they played really hard last night. They made a lot of small plays that have big impact. Offensive rebounding by Morgan was big. The play Stu Douglass made falling out of bounds to give Michigan a new possession in the second half. They had a lot of missteps and kept giving Clemson a chance to come back but I liked the effort overall.

I was really impressed by Stu's play there. I thought it showed Zach Novak-like grit.
Also I really liked how the ESPN guys kept showing Smotrycz's double clutch. That was a good shot.
