link. Just read the article. I think this game vs. Iowa will show everyone what this team is made of. Last year they broke down when adversity punched them in the teeth. This year this team punches back.

I think you are 110% correct.  Every team faces adversity (except those teams that don't).  Michigan's response to the adversity against Iowa this Saturday will reveal its character.  Iowa is a very strong team but obviously not unbeatable.  I'm interested (and scared sh-tless) to see how Michigan comes out of the gates.  I think the first two series on Saturday may set the tone for the rest of the season . . .

Nice post...Thanks 4 the link...Although I'm very nervous about the game this week I do have a little comfort in the fact that I remember Brian's post, (after the Iowa game last year). That Iowa kept both safeties back the whole game...

Just love Denard's character. A great leader, even though he is just a sophomore, and he realizes he needs to be one. Can't wait to see how this team performs Saturday and gets through this adversity.

How many times did RR stand in there and tell us that Denard was a QB....not RB, WR or PR. "How cute and loyal" we thought......Florida bloggers decried RR "lying" to Denard about how he would play QB in Div I....and now we see a freaking gem, being cut and polished every week. Who was the last sophomore QB to be a team leader for Michigan? I was around for Leach, and I am not sure he was really a team leader till his junior year.

It's so nice to be reading stories like this after a tough loss like that.  I'm sure the team will respond to Denard and the other team leaders and put out an effort to be proud of this Saturday.  Here's hoping they figure out how to move the ball enough on Iowa, should be a real challenge but if they can do it it will be a real statement from this team.

I love the irony: Denard has his worst game of his young career last week.  Now he gets a chance to make amends against the team he couldn't finish the final drive against last year in Iowa.  How sweet  would a victory taste for him and the team this weekend.
