They will update the standings daily. The official goal for this year is $700,000 - which has been eclipsed in previous years.
Michigan has won the event every year. This was the 2022 final board. Much like Michigan vs. Ohio State the last 2 years, run it up and leave no doubt.

i have this belief that the charity drive is the origin of the famous / infamous "money cannon" phrase. it may not be the case, but i think of the drive every time i hear it. i'd love to see the all-time results - i'm guessing we're up near a million bucks all on our own? maybe?
in any case all that money goes to a really good cause. first and foremost, we get bragging rights. oh, and we made spencer get a michigan tattoo once. also, he's promised to play golf (which he hates) in a pair of JNCO jeans if the drive reaches an overall stretch goal of $1,000,000 this year. and yeah, yeah, it also benefits refugee resettlement services, blah blah blah.

Spencer also sports two Michigan-themed tats from past michigan victories. One of the victims of tha Allen, Texas mall shooting was a long time employee of New American Pathways. These are good people and a good charity. We were all immigrants at one point or another.

Apparently some A&M donor dropped like 50 grand, so might not lead after day one.
