Buckeyes are a Funny People

http://www.bucknuts.com/blog/post-detail.php?p=7188 The comments provide a wonderful insight into the mind of the stereotypical Buckeye fan. Responses to a July college football blog post such as "42-7" and "when the heart of this blog is a bet over whether Dick Rod gets fired or not after this season, well, it's a pretty sad comment on Michigan football" (not to mention a legendary grasp of the English language) are quite instructive into the inner workings of the mouth breathing, tobacco chewing, Wild Turkey drinking, trailer park residing Buckeye. This is not to say all Buckeyes (yes, I dare to capitalize the name) fit this stereotype, but it's still fun to point out those who do. I think we can gather two main focus points from the stereotypical Buckeye mind set from these comments: 1. Me Buckeye, no like michigan. 2. Fire bad!!

It was partly responsible for my divorce (in a good, come to Jesus during a blackout sort of way). Also, Hunter S. Thompson. Buckeyes seem more like Beam/Kessler/Canada House drinkers

House flies and staph exist because we can't get rid of them. I believe that natural selection will rid us of buckeyes over time.

usually i go and read brians post and then hope to get some insight as to what buckeye fans think of the michigan happenings down in the comment section. like when we talk about tim hardaway junior it'd be nice to see some kind of thought out response to his highlight tape or even like a comparison to one of their recruits. 99% of the comments though are just 'dick rod muck fichigan! LOL'. which like, great, no one's heard that one before edit: 'Meatchicken'...i guess i can't say i've heard that one before
