BTN tour twitter feed discussion

The BTN crew drop in on Michigan today. With the submarine, this is about as much access as we'll have for a while. Looks like the practice will happen too late to make the nightly show tonight, so it'll air tomorrow, but we usually get some good info from the BTN team on twitter

The "until we beat our rivals" joke is so played out....and honestly, embarrassing/pathetic. For any Michigan fan who can think back to the days of dominating msu and being back and forth with osu...to think that we are now openly joking about being manhandled by our rivals for years..regardless of what context it's meant..is just pathetic.

Maybe it's not a two man race, maybe it's a motivational tactic, maybe they just need another arm to run reps for the rest of the offense on this particular drill. It's early in camp still, probably good to give everyone a chance and find out who put in work over the summer and got better.

Mone dropped like 40lbs according to Wormley. He looks really quick off the ball, like Hurst quick. Those two shooting gaps on passing downs with Wormley, Taco, and Gary coming off the edge is going to be DOOM.

I think a lot of the fanbase is skittish about Speight because he looked awful last year aside from the one drive against Minnesota, whereas O'Korn is the all-enticing MYSTERY BOX!!!

But since last year, Speight has had 15 bowl practices and 15 spring practices, all under HARBAUGH! He looked fine in the spring game. He's obviously improved. If he winds up the starter, it's because he's good enough for it.

I would love to see that also but if Speight outperforms him and makes less mistakes in the pocket then there is nothing you can do but give him the job. All we heard when Denard/Devin were playing QB that we should go back to the classic drop back QB because it made our profile look better for recruits and NFL scouts alike. Now we have that type of QB in there and people want the more mobile guy to start. That's why I still think it's more about the unknown with O'Korn than anything else. Because if he had been the one here all along and Speight was the new guy, most fans would be saying he should start.
