Brian - have you viewed your site on a square screen? It's all messed up.

The site looks great on my widescreen at home, but on my square, tube screen at work (where i spend 90% of my time here, and only have IE) the formatting is all messed up. The articles on the main page are pushed down to the bottom of the "Michigan Blogs" menu. You can't see the support, about, comment, etc. links at the top of the screen. Also, when you click on some of the MGoBoard topics /Diaries you see nothing but a big ad and you have scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the topic/diary. It's no big deal to me (maybe would be to a first time visitor), I just wanted to make sure you were aware of it. Anyone else have this problem?

Fine at home on IE7 and FF3.  Square 19" LCD.

At work, 15.4" laptop running IE6.  Company rules.

The text gets pushed down due to the long links.  They wrap to the next line, but it's probably set such that the screen (at least in IE6) isn't wide enough.

The links at the top are also sort of "hidden" in IE6.  screen cap here:

I also occasionally get the weird thing where the ad is in the middle of the page in IE6, but a refresh of the screen fixes it.

Ime, it's basically an IE6 issue.  I don't know if there is a way to tell what browsers people are using, but would suspect it's a relatively low number of folks still on IE6.  IT's annoying, but not THAT annoying (to me, anyway).

EDIT: Forgot to mention.  Work laptop resolution is 1024x768 and OS is XP Pro.

EDIT 2: Also, this thread was at the top of the page, as in the screen cap, until I added the link to the screen cap, ironically.  Text is too long, so it pushes the thread down where there is white space to the right.
