Braylon Edwards to NYG...
I guess so...

Haha. I know Plax really was a talented receiver but I love that an MSU guy is on the outs because he almost shot his own dick off, and in comes friggin Braylon Edwards.
Toomer, Manningham and now Edwards? GO GIANTS!
Looks to be just Manningham and Edwards. The Giants probably wont resign Toomer so they can free up cap space for Brandon Jacobs and others.
I didn't even think about Manningham being there.
AHHHH I JUST WISH I LIKED ELI MANNING. I don't know why I don't, I just don't....but now it'll be hard not to cheer for the Giants.
So much for disliking the Giants... now I have to wish them well for Braylon's sake.
The NFL is such a mercenary league. As I've gotten older it's become harder and harder to care.
And can anyone tell me why I can't watch an NFL game without hearing Crazy Train every three minutes? I have nothing against Ozzy but that song was great IN 1983.
It's just so marketed... so hyped and bland and colorless.
I know exactly how you feel. The fact that they have hour long shows to analyze the upcoming schedule for all 32 teams at this point is just ridiculous. I also hate how ESPN has turned everything into a little soap opera, like the TO situation and just likes to blow every little thing they talk about out of proportion. I guess my point is that ESPN has killed my affinity for the NFL. As for the poster above you, you probably hate Eli Manning because he was acting like an entitled little bitch on draft day when he demanded a trade from San Diego as soon as he was drafted by them.
It's just good to see him playing for a strong team. It had to be a nightmare calling Cleveland home for the last few years.
Let him wear the 1. does the nfl still have those rules about numbers for certain positions?
Some WRs can wear numbers in the teens ala Keyshawn Johnson all those years but I believe the single digits are restricted to QBs, kickers, and punters.
I don't think that rule has changed.
Giants fans hope that his prodigious case of the dropsies is cured.

I've disliked Eli ever since he spurred the Chargers like a self-aggrandizing prima donna.
I've disliked Peyton ever since he (but mostly his fans at Tennessee) cried foul for a decade after Woodson won the Heisman, and I disliked him even more when--amidst their crying--Peyton never managed to win a big game (despite all of his teammate advantages, both offensive and defensive, over a guy like Brady).
I think you meant "pre-madonna."
I think it's time to retire that joke.
I'm sorry, but that will never happen. I don't retire jokes.
Antonio Bass LOL

It breaks me itty bitty heart to see Michigan players stuck in that most unpleasant valley where the rivers' flammability is exceeded only by the tempers of the feeble-minded inhabitants

as a Giants fan, I am elated about this possibility. I hated having to root for Plax (being a Michigan fan),and glad that he is finally out the door. I really hope this comes to frutition so I can buy an Edwards Giants Jersey to replace that Shockey monstrosity I (embarrassingly) own.
If I were a Giants fan, I would be concerned with Braylon's inability to stay focused and catch the goshdamn ball. His contract is up in a year or two and your G-Men will be on the hook for $20 million plus in guaranteed jack for a guy who struggles with being a consistent performer every Sunday.
Now he can hang an M flag outside his house and not have it torn down and his yard vandalized (yes, this happened to him in Cleveland).
