Michigan State junior forward Branden Dawson out 4-5 weeks with a broken hand

Dawson said he slammed his hand on table after frustrated watching film of his recent play
That changes things for the game this Saturday. With Appling and Payne banged up but will play. I never wish injury on anybody and I rather have Michigan beat MSU on full strength.
Also, there's a curse of #3 ranking for B1G teams. OSU and Wisconsin haven't won since then and MSU had trouble with Indiana a few days ago. Do B1G team really want the #3 ranking?

but this is totally on Tom Izzo. When you have a culture of overreacting and intimidating, berrating and becoming physical (e.g. grabbing them by the neck) for something like taking a bad shot or not blocking out, the players think they have to overreact to their own miscues and this is what you get.
A john Beilein player isn't going to to slam his hand onto a table and break it in film room before he biggest game of the season to impress his coach.
Tom Izzo's rage issues caused this.

And I hope Izzo both realizes this, and is consumed by it. Hopefully it makes him a little more ragey and stabby.

So, as of right now, Sparty has one player who allegedly committed sexual assault, another who stated in a deposition to police that he watched it happen, and a player who broke his hand in a temper tantrum.
It's great to see that Tom Izzo recruits such high-quality people to his team.

I could not care less who takes the court for them. Not like we haven't had some hard luck; you play with who dresses. What a dope, though.

Izzo et all will be whining about this for days, but you won't hear a word from JB about McGary. let's hope Dakich does the game.

He's hitting objects, not people. Baby steps, people. Baby steps.
