Brady Pallante named after Brady Hoke who was recruiting DJ Durkin

Uh huh

In the DetNews story, Dan Pallante was coaching DJ Durkin in HS when he was visited by Brady Hoke, who was on the staff at UM in 1994 and came to recruit DJ. Dan's wife, who was pregnant at the time, met Hoke and decided she liked the name Brady, which is how Brady Pallante got his name. Pallente then ends up being coached by the guy that caused the event to happen in the first place due to his play in HS.

Seems likes at some point a Terminator T600 will show up on campus looking for Pallante since there seems to be a break space time continuum somewhere.

Pallante coached Durkin at Boardman in Youngstown, Ohio, through his final season in 1996 and said the 37-year-old Durkin is exactly like the kid who played for him.

I just find it fascinating that the person coaching this defense and who has given life to "Durkin Donuts" is my age. I would gladly exchange salaries, but then I far too pleased with the current situation in Ann Arbor and would like to see where all this goes.

....Brady Hoke didn't have the skills to be a head coach at a "Power 5 Elite Program" but he recruited an elite defense and he deserves his respect for his MAJOR contribution to the No 1 D in the nation.

Time to stop hating, he handed the materials to Harbaugh and Durkin and they forged GOLD.

Imagine if in '10 Hoke convinced Harbaugh to be his Offensive Coordinator or better yet if Harbaugh was the HC and Hoke the DC.

Bet those teams would've made some noise the last four years.
