Happy "The Game" Eve!

Not the greatest of college football games on today but it's football.

Texas had a terrible first few drives and are down 14-7 after a long drive.

Va Tech down early against Virginia.

The shark lover has the Chips up 14-0 against Toledo.

When Chris Petersen went to Washington, I thought he'd create a west coast powerhouse.  He's done okay there, but not as much as I thought he would.  Anyway, I have a soft spot in my heart for Chris Petersen and the Huskies, so here's hoping they win today.

My wife says: "Wahoowah!"  She's a UVA grad ...

I think we’d all take Petersen’s results of 2 conference titles and a playoff appearance with Ws over all rivals than what Harbaugh has done at Michigan.

It’s hard to win at Washington with how they were recruiting but Petersen has elevated their recruiting big time. Michigan will find out first hand next year to open the season due to the morons who make the football schedule.

Who’s shitting you n harbaugh? They were just stating a fact. Peterson has done more at UW than harbaugh has done at Michigan. My god why is everyone a sensitive child when someone says anything about harbaugh that could be viewed as negative. As far as who has an easier job yes Peterson has a much better chance of winning his conference for the reasons you stated. But Washington doesn’t recruit at our level so even that excuse you can say it’s even. We get better athletes but play a tougher schedule. All I want is to beat ohio state on Saturday!! And Gonzaga today!

If Toledo fired Coach Candle, I would much appreciate that.  He's garbage.

I miss the old Puff-12 matchups with Texas vs A&M and Nebraska vs Colorado.

I also pull for Mike Leach, so Go Cougs

Pretty amazing post-game interview by Ferentz. He had trouble remembering the name of his player who caught the pass to set up the game-winning field call. He called him, "LaPorta or whatever his name is, the freshman kid." By an amazing coincidence, the freshman kid's name actually is "LaPorta," "Sam LaPorta." Ferentz ought to get to know him.
