Big 10 Bowl Projections

Submitted by jamiemac on
Per CFN, the latest Bowl Projections for Big 10 teams....the Illini's loss, knocking them out of a bowl and Oregon St's continued winning ways over in Pac 10 land has shuffled the deck. Anyway, what do you guys think of these possible matchups. Motor City: Central Michigan vs Minnesota Champs Sports: Maryland vs Iowa Alamo: Nebraska vs Northwestern Insight: Kansas vs Wisconsin Outback: South Carolina vs Michigan St Capital One: Georgia vs Ohio State Rose: Oregon St vs Penn St

I love CFB, but I totally agree. I am looking as forward to a full slate of big 10 hoops on 12/31....might even go to the Wisco at UM game that day. And, as far as new year's day is concerned. I'll be focused on Wings-Hawks at Wrigley Field more than anything else. The last several years we've seen the buffett of football on new year's day kind of wane, with other sports scheduling games....and now, with no UM having a game. Like you said, weird new year's day for sure.

is dead to me this year. My favorite teams- Wolverines, Lions, and Patriots (for Tom Brady). I can't watch this anymore. Wake me up in August. I'm going to watch hockey and basketball like jamiemac

Motor City: Central Michigan vs Minnesota Loss Champs Sports: Maryland vs Iowa Win (Blowout) Alamo: Nebraska vs Northwestern Win Insight: Kansas vs Wisconsin Loss (Blowout) Outback: South Carolina vs Michigan St Win (I hate to say it...) Capital One: Georgia vs Ohio State Loss Rose: Oregon St vs Penn St Win (Blowout) So 4-3 for the Big Ten with wins over the SEC, Big 12, Pac 10 and ACC. Should help in the respect department a little bit.

Could not agree more....they blow out the Terps. The way Iowa is playing right now, I can see one my bigger bowl plays of the season will be on the Hawks. I dont think NW would bet Nebraska, but I would take Wisco over KU if the Badgers are underdogs....they always overachieve against the line in bowl games.
