BIG breaking story on a notorious slow sports week. NHL and NBA seasons still have 6 weeks to go before playoffs college b-ball still in mid season.   Not much happenin so a good scandal/nonscandal is a great filler.  Nothing will come of it other than don't do it again and we have a policy on that!  Much ado about nuttin.

Bill knew what he was doing. Tom is going to come out and say that he gave the equipment people "general" instructions for the footballs and he was not clear enough to them on his instructions. He will do a "whoops my bad" and everyone will go about their business. Bill couldn't say that and get away with it, Tom can.

This deflate ball "scandal" is such a big piece of overblown, click-bait, crap... lead by uninformed and uninsightful NFL writers and bloggers who want publicity and clicks....and is supported by crying Baltimore Ravens.

The fact is that nearly ALL NFL QB's have their teams doctor the balls a bit for their tastes.  Brad Johnson admitted paying $7500 to have it done for the Super Bowl.

so the Bucs now have to vacate that win?? BS this entire story is much ado about nothing...

its pure crap

Brady's presser was about as expected. He basically said he likes them at 12.5 and he inspects the balls and then expects that exact ball to be on the field once he approves the ball. He denied ever knowingly playing with an underinflated ball.

He said he couldn't tell a difference during the game but also said the thought of the football never crosses his mind once he is on the field. He assumes they are the approved balls.

He also said he spoke to the equipment people and they denied doing anything and he believes them. He did say he thought they won the game fair and square.

Basically, "Nothing to see here folks, move along."

The seriousness of the Patriot's actions are about on par with stretchgate.....should be a non story, but because of the success of those involved, it's a huge story.
