Barwis to get show on Discovery Channel
Funny Or Die has shot a pilot of the untitled series, which stars strength and conditioning coach Mike Barwis (pictured above) who will train with a different pro athlete in each episode. The company is in preproduction on seven more eps."

I googled Mealer's name to spell check it for my earlier post. I came across this video of Barwis's speech at a TED event. I think it explains why he isn't working at colleges anymore. In addition to the people he trains, he is doing what he did for Brock for others. He is helping people walk again.

Has there been a meme more overblown than Barwis? Honestly, this guy has taken on a life of his own, merely on rumors about a pet wolf and his gravelly voice.

Or it could be, you know, the fact that he helped a guy given a 1% chance of walking again, to actually walk again.
