Bars in South Bend to watch the game

Heading down to to SB w/o tickets and will watch the game at a bar after tailgating by the stadium. Does anyone now anything about SB and can recommend a bar to go to? How early before kickoff should we head to the bar?

CJ's Pub: great atmosphere with outstanding burgers and drink specials.

The Linebacker: The drink of choice there is the Long Island Iced Tea.

and The Linebacker was recommended. My buddy mentioned that it was either Rudy's bar or that it's named in his honor. I never ended up going but that was his first choice, fwiw.

If I had to be in SB to watch the game, I'd probably end up at the BDubs on Washington and S. Main. CJ's is good too though.

i was planning on going to south bend this weekend too, but with gas prices so high i decided to just have my buddy kick me in the balls a few times instead
