Jesus H...........are we done with the Farve thing now???? AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR hate hate hate.

So glad they finally just traded him and put us out of our misery. Every day this week I get up, turn on ESPN, and cry. Because it's a solid hour of Brett Farve.

We're done until his unfortunate death mid-season, when a J-E-T-S fan in a Kellen Clemens jersey kills Favre with a battery from the upper deck after his 5th INT of the game.

I've had a personal boycott of ESPN since they put the Favre crawler on their channels. Now that he is actually on a team in the NFL, you would think that they would take that shit off. But no. That is a prime example of why they suck a lot and one reason why I search for my sports info elsewhere. /end rant

No. Now instead of Favre situation updates from Green Bay, we will have Favre situation updates from New York. "Today, Brett Favre looked at the playbook for the Jets for the first time. He says he wants to put the GB situation behind him and is looking forward to working with his teammates" Then, a 5 minute discussion about how he will do with the Jets, followed by a recap of the situation since 2005. This will happen every night until the season starts.

Damn YOU NEW YORK!!!! You're right, he's never going away now. Couldn't he have been traded to the Panthers or some such team that ESPN hates? Maybe the Lions? Oh, right, the Lions are dumb fucks, they would never try to get a player to help them win.

I'd run Matt Millen over with my car given the chance, but signing Brett Favre wouldn't make the Lions any better. Maybe he wins 1-2 or extra games this year, but a 38 year old QB isn't what this team needs to improve. It's not like we're one solid QB from the Super Bowl or something.
