Anyone with insight on newest offer, Ken Ekanem?
No really anything on him but with the amount of offers we have out to the high end DE's in the class already, im kind of suprised by this offer.
Especially since Wormley is supposed to be a rather large lean to us.
At 6'4 255 he is a rather "large" lean.
/bad joke.
Latest info on Wormley has us in a dead heat with OSU. He is not a Michigan lean anymore.
With all due respect to the author of where your getting that info from, i find it impossible to beleive that, and so does every in the know OSU fan.
Josh at Rivals has reported this and I believe TomVH has hinted at this as well. It is between Michigan and OSU and it is about 50-50 right now.
What happened. I thought Hoke visited a couple of times and we were leading. no sarcasm
If you remember back to last year there were reports that Wormley was not feeling the love from the Michigan coaches and that osu was showing him lots of love. We just chalked that up to osu just committing more secondary violations.
The following is not meant to be a shot at the old staff:
I read recently on GBMW that Wormley's coaches said that the new staff has been in to the school more in the last 3 months than the previous staff did in one year.
IMO, we were playing catch up and it seems that we have caught up.
I do remember that. I thought we had caught and was leading. Did I miss something or was I wrong and we never led since Hoke has been here.
You could be right, I just heard that we might not have the large lead that everyone thinks we have.
Thanks. All is noise until he commits. Is he making a decision before the season ?
<br>
I dont recall hearing that he has set a definite timeline on his decision. I think its likely, as with many high caliber players, that he waits until after his season or signing day.
Oh, well I definitely believe it then. Josh at Rivals has absolutely no incentive whatsoever to make things seem closer than they actually are.
I am not in a position to speak one way or the other about Josh. I have found him to be pretty fair and accurate in his reports. He is by far closer to the recruits than I am, so I tend to believe him.
Will, or does he, make recruiting battles seem more interesting to drum up support? Maybe, but what is the harm in that? None of it matters until he commits. Painting it as being closer means that if we land him, we beat out our greatest rival for his services, if we lose him it increases our disdain for those in Ohio.
Outside of AA that is?
That Michigan was his childhood favorite.
Still early but the Michigan offer was certainly one that he was waiting on
This is an awesome offer. I went to Centreville back in the old days. Not really known for football, so I'm sure this kid is the bomb to get Michigan's attention.
Unforunately, it looks like he's leaning towards Virginia Tech right now. He's going to their spring game with 80+ recruits. If he doesn't commit I'd say that will help Michigan's chances.
80+ recruits. Wow, Does a school even get 80 different recruits visiting during a full year? Good luck keeping track of everyone.
Georgia. Otherwise with that many, some of them could disappear and clean out the locker room.
Hell I dint know we could give out 1,00000000000 offers till this year.
He looks pretty good on tape with great closing speed. Seems to be wanting a PSU offer.
Check out the highlights:
It's a curious offer, probably a fall back option.
What I originally posted made no sense since the guy I replied to edited while I was writing, so here's Ekanem's profiles to look at.

I thought it was the Corner we offered this past week.
Cool. I figured it was something like that. Couldn't figure out what Mallory being at Illinois had to do with a Virginia DE...This makes more sense now.
I am trying to catch up with this class of recruits, it's proving to be harder than Grad school. My head is indeed hun in shame, even though you can't see it.
English is an odd language. "with insight" or "within sight". Two entirely different things. I have to answer no, in regards to Ekanem, in either case.
