he has gone pretty much radio silent on the Michigan side I think. Just read an article about him winning the MVP award at some Rivals Defensive Camp. The article also mentioned his new found interest in Rutgers, as he took a couple of officials out there and really liked it.
That or he got killed by 50 Cent or something. I dunno.
The birthplace of college football! First ever 0-1 team!!
The Sharrif don't like it.
Rockin' the Casbah.
Rock the casbah!
He's not really a lean anywhere. Not much news at all from any sides coming from him. Everyone seems to think it's a PSU/Michigan/Florida/Rutgers battle at this point. He's (somewhat) close with Je'Ron Stokes and the Stokes family, and Ricardo has spoken to him as well. The thing about Floyd is he didn't grow up following college football at all. The allure of a certain school's prestige and history is completely irrelevant to him. It's all about feeling comfortable at a school for him.
He just dropped a deuce. 1.7lbs.
I don't know why, but I laughed so hard when I read that.
then any hometown allegiance should be of no factor. This is good. So if he's looking for comfort, hopefully Stokes and Miller continue their work. Another DT would make me happy, especially one of this caliber.
You're correct; Floyd has also said distance is no factor, and it's all about feeling comfortable at a place when he visits.
I thought I read somewhere that distance was a factor, but not in the normal sense. It said he wanted (needed) to get away for a fresh start because of the rough area he's from and some of the stuff that he's had to deal with.
Here's a Floyd interview recently posted on Scout:

Exhibit A for why TinyURLs are a bad idea on a message board people read at work!
