Antoine Davis returning to UDM

Didn't see this posted...he's returning.  Appears there was some interest from other schools, but he only took a couple official visits (Maryland and BYU).  I was initially on board with getting him here simply because his greatest skill--shooting--figured to translate at this level, but it appears the interest in him was tepid.  If NIL was the reason for him to go out and kick the tires elsewhere, I could see him not looking towards Ann Arbor quite yet.

I suppose he was balancing NIL with his likely roles at the other schools. It's not likely that he'd be the featured player at most Power Five schools. There may not have been compelling NIL opportunities to balance his reduced usage.

As high a volume shooter as he is in his conference, he wasn't going to find a high-major contender that would come in and abuse their usage rates.
