3* Safety Rod Moore announcing tomorrow, Allen Trieu CB’s to UM

Submitted by Denarded on May 9th, 2020 at 9:17 AM

For some Saturday #BallWatching #21 ranked safety Rod Moore, who is a current teammate commit of Markus Allen looks to be announcing tomorrow around noon. Trieu just placed his crystal ball for the good guys.

All websites seem to conclude he’s on the fringe of 4 star status. His film shows he isn’t afraid to lay the lumber on kids either. Offers include ND, Wisconsin, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Midwest etc.

That's a weird comp--Hawkins is a converted receiver-sized receiver; Moore is a gnat. I was going to go with UW's D'Cota Dixon or Northwestern's JR Pace. Basically what we hoped Jaylen Kelly-Powell was going to be when we thought JKP had speed.

I tried that the other day re: the CB for the guy named Sommerville. I made a Sommerville, Mass., joke. I thought it was funny (probably because I used to live there) and got negged. Either it was only funny to me (highly possible) or people didn’t realize it was a joke (also possible).  Probably the former.

Anyone know why he moved his timeline up? Last I heard he was still interested and wanted to check out a few other schools?

Not saying the kid isn’t good...but don’t you wonder why OSU isn’t all over him?

without looking at their class id guess bc theyre targeting group of top S around the country.  unfortunately michigan is not.  michigan will land a few blue chips but not 15 of them every year (until they alter their program or play a consistent season culminated by strong performances in last 2 games).  thems the breaks.  move on and find the best of the rest.  seems they believe this kid to be among the best of the rest

This is just what people tell themselves to feel better about Jim Harbaugh massively underachieving both on and off the field.

We're officially in MSU territory when it comes to defensive recruiting. OSU isn't even looking at kids outside the top 150 right now.

Michigan's highest rated commit on defense is #404 overall.

Leaders and best yall.

3-star commitment to Michigan? Sounds about right. Yep, Harbaugh and company will "coach him up". "Michigan" where, in football, the "M" stands for mediocrity. Go Blue!
