2nd 5* Commits to W Hoops for 2021
Ari Wiggins verbally committed to the University of Michigan Saturday, as first reported by Prospects Nation. Wiggins is ranked the No. 30 prospect in the 2021 class nationally by ESPN. She joins Laila Phelia, a five-star guard out of Ohio as the only two player currently in the class.
This is awesome! Watched some of the women’s hoops this season, and even though they weren’t the best in the conference, they had a ton of talent and a lot of great looking youngsters. This team will be highly competitive for the next 3-4 years and beyond if they can continue to recruit and show success on the court.
The only good things that transpire at Michigan happen to sports that nobody cares about.
It’s amazing you could get so much wrong in such a short post.
Those coaches can stay under the radar so nobody's calling for their firing, yet. Once they get the ball rolling and show some success though...

Bakich!
Sometimes I wish we had the same following for every sport that we do for Football and then I remember some of the miserable assholes we have in our fanbase. Glad we have our niche crowd away from toxic average fan.
I definitely sat a couple rows in front of a toxic fan at the women's basketball game against Maryland. Some people just want to be miserable.
Were you born without a filter or did someone piss in your cereal this morning???
Hey, I join my daughter in saying that you can go f*ck yourself! Cheerfully and well, of course!
Even as a freshman, Certified Baller!!
Well done ! Great for her and the program.
Keep it up KBA!!
Great news!. Wiggins is commit #3 for the 21 class.
Taylor Gibson was the first to join, a 6'2 F/C from MD
Women's Basketball is looking up!
Kim Barnes Arico has built a core capable of contending for the Big Ten regular season championship. Knocking off Maryland will be tough as heck but doable with the right breaks.
Love it love it love it. Keep on killin it
Don Brown at it again.
Great news, right when we could really use it>
Keep it going KBA!
How big of a class can we take?
It's crazy when you consider they were 4 players short this past season, but the class is now full, assuming no attrition. I wouldn't make that assumption, however. Here's the scholarship chart from WBBblog.com from before the latest commit.
Would like to see KBA to lure at least one of 5 of the top 100 instate recruit into committing to Michigan.
The 4 players are:
Damiaya Hagemann from Detroit Edison: Edison could very well have back to back to back Miss Basketball and two of them went out of state(one to Mississippi State and other to Clemson). Damiaya holds a Michigan offer and is #19 recruit in the country.
Breanne Salenbien from Lenawee Christian. Not sure if she holds a Michigan offer but she's #32 recruit in the country.
AJ Edinger from Hamilton. She's an Iowa commit and is ranked #47 in the country.
Morasha Wiggins from Kalamazoo Central. Not sure if she holds a Michigan offer but she's #50 in the country and is coming off from an ACL tear.
Jillian Brown from East Grand Rapids. She is a NW commit and is ranked #82 in the country.
