3:10 video of Zach Harrison talking about his newly found difficult decision between Ohio St and Michigan. We've already read in print what he said. But seeing it on video makes a difference.

As far as I can tell:
If he goes Ohio St, it will be because of D Line coach Larry Johnson.
If he goes Michigan it will be because his new friends/teammates at Michigan, Jim Harbaugh, Al Washington, and Ben Herbert.
Which will he choose? Just a month ago it looked all Ohio St. Maybe meeting all the guys on the defense, and becoming friends with them, and with both DEs Chris Wormley and Taco Charlton getting drafted, and now clearly, that both DEs Rashan Gary and Chase Winovich will be drafted, Michigan may have turned into a real possibility for him. But Ohio St has produced great DEs too. Which would you pick if you were him?
There's still more visits to both places. Maybe the visits to his new friends at Michigan will tip the scales?
Seeing the video has been better than just reading what he said. His face makes it look like it is a real tough choice for him.
I have reserved hopes.

247 quoted him that he's done with visits. This feels a lot like the DPJ recruitment a year ago only in reverse. People shouldn't get their hopes up. I would love to be wrong of course.

Pretty brainy kid and in my mind if you're a high academic level kid you're probably going to Meechigan.
He sounds really mature, doesn't he? If he were somewhere else but Ohio I'd say we have a solid shot, but he seems really sold on OSU. He says the programs are similar football wise, and he says Ohio State is good academically. I'm not getting my hopes up, but at least he's thinking of us as a great option...

It's not elite like Michigan, but it's a fine school, especially if you grow up in Ohio and don't want to pay out of state or private school tuition.
You know that's what he's been told. I'm sure they have shiny new buildings that would indicate the same. I hope someone is keeping it real; Ohio State does have some good degrees - I hear they have a good astronomy program - but across the board with the 'big' programs they aren't in the same league as Michigan and anyone who knows, knows. I applaud the guy doing the interview, totally professional. Me, I'd interrupted with a , "Oh hellz to the No!..." and the interview would have ended up 60:40 what I thought.
But Alabama has a great school of engineering.
I worked in Naval Intelligence, Michigan Undergrad, Stanford Law, I don't think I am as dumb as I look, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out HOW TO SIMPLY UPVOTE A POST ON THIS "REVAMPED" SITE (as I wanted to upvote Hail Harbo for his screen name alone). Nor can I figure out HOW TO SIMPLY ACCESS MY OWN ACCOUNT INFO ON THIS GREAT NEW "IMPROVED" SITE. Thanks vbnautilus. If I find one of my posts and click on my screen name, I get to the page you sent me to. On the old site, however, I was able to access my account, change my photo, etc., from a "my account" or some such similar tab that would appear when I logged in as I recall. .01% chance this kid goes to Michigan. In the off chance that he does, it would probably depend on the season, which means Michigan kills it this year and probably beats OSU.
He's saying he wants to make his decision NLT August 14. So unless he can be flipped, quite doubtful, the season means nothing to him.
If his decision were at a later date I would feel like there is a legit chance. It would be pretty ballsy of him to pick U-M right before his senior season and have to live with all the crap he would get from the local OSU fans all the way up to signing day.
If his decision was later, like NSD, that would make a stronger argument that he's trying to build suspense.
Pretty sure the kid doesn't want the attention; heck his tweets are "followers only", in this day, in recruiting, that's considered a hermit.
He'll commit to OSU in August but with the right season, and enough of a revolt with the Ohio recruits about how OSU is now about stars not area codes.....
