ok this is just a thought, but michigan does have another QB in this years class. Thomas Gordon ran the Cass Tech O this past year. what are the chances now that he gets a shot to show what he can do since threet is out??? i know that we are thin at S and CB but on the radio(97.1)yesterday a coach from dearborn fordson called in and said when they played cass tech that gordon was great and even launched a ball 77 yards in the air. don't kill me on this as it is only a thought.

I think the only way Gordon plays offense is if we have some devastating injury problems. Gordon is very raw as a quarterback. I'd say it's something like: 1. Forcier 2. Robinson 3. Sheridan 4. Feagin 5. Gordon 6. Cone

I agree. Remember how raw Feagin was at QB last year? That's what Denard may be like this year. I think Denard's ceiling is much higher than Feagin, but it's extremely difficult to come in for fall practices and be able to learn everything you need to know to run the offense.

I think he will definitely at least be the back up to start. The expectations of putting a true freshman on the field who will have been on campus for less than a 100 days at qb is a little premature. I am by no means a Sheridan fan, but give the guy his due he will at least get everyone lined up correctly and execute the given play. If they can keep him out of 3rd and 6 and longer he is fine. Once you get him past that situation he is programmed to hold the ball until he is pressured and then throw a punt into triple coverage.

Sorry about the Pearl Jam reference. Jeremy Gallon was a cute QB at Apopka. He can come in as a wildcat or change of pace QB. There is that little matter about the ACT, though.
