Anybody else feeling like there's about a 0% chance there's going to be a hockey player on this list? Shit, I feel like you could reasonably pick two or three guys from the '96 championship team and possibly be underdoing it.

He played in Michigan, so he qualifies for this list of random favorite sports people as selected from a small number of people who happened to be awake when the poll was released.

I just find it somewhat laughable that whoever participated in compiling it (and for the life I dont remember ever seeing the poll on the board) must've been VERY young and possessing of little memory of MIchigan athletic history beyond what they themselves have seen or who they heard their dad talk about growing up.
I'm waiting for the day that Jordan Kovacs, Zolton Mesko or Nik Staukas hit the list and I've already resigned myself to the fact that Denard Robinson is probably sitting at #1.

In 2013 the Michigan Athletic Association (MVictors) did just that and selected the 25 greatest Michigan football players. So anyone not being considered one of Michigan's all-time greatest football players certainly couldnt be included on a list of the 25 greatest Michigan athletes right?

Let me know where you see Lamar Woodley or Anthony Thomas on that list. I cant seem to find them.

That list is also a joke. How can you have Denard over Henne? I love me some Denard, but there's no question about who was the better QB. Henne basically owns all the passing records at Michigan.
