With 128 yds vs. TCU, Michigan could have 2 1,000-yd RBs for 1st time since 1975

Obviously the most important thing is to beat TCU. Winning the game means Michigan will have won 14 games in a single season for the first time ever, and brings us one step closer to a national championship.

But another interesting milestone may occur at the Fiesta Bowl. If Donovan Edwards gains at least 128 yards, Michigan will have had two 1,000-yard running backs in the same season for the first time since 1975, when Rob Lytle (1,030) and Gordon Bell (1,388) did it. (In 2011, Denard Robinson gained 1,176 and Fitzgerald Toussaint gained 1,041, but Denard of course was a QB. Also, the 1975 milestone occurred over 12 games, vs. 14+ this year.)

I thought that was interesting enough to share!
