Agreed on that. Not only is it a cool look, there's also significant history behind that jersey. I understand beggars can't be choosy and all, but would be extra sick if they could darken the Maize and go with a material that has more sheen to it... capture the essence of them better.

They're not dazzle and the line weights are wrong.

Who cares, though. They look great. This should be the permanent third jersey. Best thing the team has worn in ten years. Awesome.

It's to commemorate the 1996 team which will be honored tonight.

Should be permanent jerseys. I knew something was up when the script Michigan logo appeared on the Nike branding site.

The response is so extremely positive on twitter so far that I bet they'll keep them.

I never understood why we went away from this look.  The Block M jerseys have never quite done it for me.

Yes, these should be permanent.

So...going on a tangent, any particular reason Jordan decided to bring back the Tom Brady #10 football jersey?  Anybody know if this is going to be a thing?

For those of us who were around during the dark years after Farrell left and before Red showed up, those jersies don't bring back great memories. Sure, Dave Debol wore one, but that was before my time.

I was thrilled when Red was hired and when he brought in the winged helmets and the block M jersies. Really see no reason to change back, other than so Nike can sell different "new" jersies to Sneetches.

Two gripes...

1. Why the hell is that collar so goddamn enormous?

2. Neither the waist stripes nor sleeve stripes actually wrap around the waist/sleeves.

Turco scored from between the circles on the opposite side of the ice (didn't catch earlier). Morrison missed from center, but did score from back in the other zone. Legg missed a lacrosse shot from center, was at the top of the circles (a little closer than the others), and made that lacrosse shot.

Score-O featured Marty Turco, Brendan Morrison, and Mike Legg. All missed their first shot and made their second shot from roughly 3/4 of the way down the ice.
